Branding The Cutting Room


The Cutting Room is a start-up Hair Salon based in East Sussex. They partnered with us to develop a brand/identity for their brand new salon.

The client wanted something that would reflect the salon's rural surroundings yet portray a modern and welcoming feel.


We worked through many concepts and took feedback from the salon's clients to ensure the end product was something that resonated with the intended audience.

By working closely with our client, we took them on the creative process and delivered a brand/identity we all believed in.

We like to include nuggets of meaning in the brands we create and this one was no exception. The Cutting Room founder has "PL" in her initials. Can the eagle-eyed of you spot the homage?
